   EGM / Committee meeting : 7:30 pm 8th June 04

It has become necessary to call a further General Meeting to revise our constitution since the Charity Commission suggested binding changes to our existing one before they accept our application. This meeting will lay down the future shape of BCoF, therefore your attendance is important.

The EGM will be solely devoted to the presentation and approval of changes which have become an urgent necessity to comply with the requirements of the Charity Commission - We must achieve charitable status as soon as possible.

Please bring your copy of the current Constitution to the meeting for comparison. The changes centre around paragraph 3 of our existing constitution. The Charity Commission's reasoning behind these changes will be given at the EGM. Again we have been fortunate in having expert help and advice from Dr Wendi Momen and Cliff Harris on these changes.

Only members may vote at any meeting - You are a member only if you paid your subscription for the current year 2004 - Guests are welcome to come to both meetings, but may not vote.

This meeting will be followed immediately by our scheduled Committee Meeting (replacing the cancelled meeting from 6th May 2004). Minutes of the last committee meeting of 22nd March 2004 and the Agenda for the scheduled committee meeting will be distributed at the meeting on the 8th June 2004

We look forward to seeing you on 8th June.
