Dear Bedford Council of Faiths Supporter,
You are invited to attend a very important General Meeting (GM) of BCoF on
Tuesday 14th October at 7.30p.m.
which will be followed immediately by the Committee Meeting we originally had planned to hold on this evening. |
The GM will be solely devoted to the presentation and approval of changes to our Constitution which have become an urgent necessity to comply with requirements of the Charity Commission. We must achieve charitable status as soon as possible. The proposed changes are in red italics on the 'Draft Constitution' page ( see above link ). Please bring your copy of the current Constitution to the meeting for comparison. Most of the changes are additions, in particular a completely new clause on Trustees. The reasoning behind these changes will be given at the GM. We have been fortunate in having expert help and advice from Dr Wendi Momen and Cliff Harris on these changes.

At the end of the GM there will be a short break for soft drinks before we continue with the Committee Meeting. As usual all members may attend the Committee Meeting if they wish. |

Sunday School of the Christain Scientist Church, First Church of Christ Scientist, 84 Kimbolton Road, BEDFORD, MK40 2PD
The church is on the left hand side of Kimbolton Road going out of Bedford, about half a mile from its intersection with Goldington Road, and is between St Michael’s Road and St Augustine’s Road. There is parking on site for about 12 cars with access from Kimbolton Road. You can also park on Kimbolton Road itself and in adjacent side roads. |
